Clean lines make this space very attractive and yes a toddler does live here! Storage for toys can be placed in cabinets as well as hinged coffee tables. Pops of color are added through the furniture in this minimalist room.

Trying to decorate with a little one underfoot can sometimes be a difficult task. For a quick turn in the breakfast room, keep it simple by using a neutral floor underneath, and if you are or were an avid collector (before kids) you can still display your lovelies in a glass cabinet. For a more attractive cabinet lock, tie gross grain ribbon around the entire cabinet and secure in a tie across the door knobs.blog-breakfast room picture So I have finally convinced my husband we need a larger home and I am beginning the staging process this week along with being a full time mother, writer, and business owner! The fun never ends! The new year is upon us and here at Ella & Bee we have a lot of plans going on for the upcoming year or at least a lot wishes! We began the clothing line in November of 2009 and we gave it a test run at some home parties as well as market in Atlanta this year. We’re very excited about the new project. As a mother, it is definitely an interesting workday with a 2 year old mandating the orders most of the time. The little boss has been sick this week, which has really put a damper on work; however, she is starting to get better. We should be back to our normal 2 year old jovial self – one minute we’re happy and the next we’re having a tantrum — within the next few days! We will chat again soon! |
